Mandate and Purpose

The Schulich MBA Open Arms Committee (MBA OAC) is a student-run organization that is dedicated to assist in facilitating the transition of MBA exchange students from their native country to Canada. The goal of the committee is to welcome incoming students, to help them adjust to their new environments, and to provide information relevant to help students settle into Schulich.

The MBA OAC is attempting to build bridges of professional relations and friendships between the MBA incoming exchange students with the Schulich community engaging them to participate in active networking through events, the Buddy Program and by being active in other Clubs.

The MBA OAC can help to maintain Schulich’s reputation abroad as a top rank school by further representing Schulich as a fun and enjoyable place for exchange and international students to study for the upcoming year. Being part of the MBA OAC gives you an opportunity to share some good times with MBA exchange students and familiarize with the differences that exist in cultures globally, making great friends and networking on a worldwide scale.

(MBA OAC is a separate club from the Undergraduate Open Arms Committee).
